in the 50s the name was changed to brutus for some stoopid reason…these are the one i don’t waste time on…
I think it was a case that the creator started a character that he named Brutus and didn’t realize it was going to be so popular a part of the series and later got tired of the first name choice and made it Bluto. I’ll check.
