is getting tired of people who love things just because they arent supposed to be. Example people so omg the 80s were so awesome, omg i love hippies, dude dreds are great. wtf is up with that? people want to be different by not idolizing the hero but nowdays noone idolizes the hero. F popeye what about wimpy?
i like the hippies because i like the stuly of clothes and i like the old songs because where doing it because they loved to do it, not for the money. i’m not omg about it, these are just why i like them
I went through the eighties and I didn’t think they were so great. I remember the hippies and they weren’t so great either–they had big problems with reality. Isn’t reality the problem here? Nobody wants to face it because they think it’s painful. Many hippies came out of their era with serious drug problems and painful STD’s. What kind of substitute for reality is that? Many yuppies left the 80’s with horrible addictions to cocaine that in many cases ruined their whole lives. Don’t forget also the the 80’s were a decade of horror because so many died of Aids.
Facing reality in the first place will enable people to be happier in the long run.

Um, i am a modern hippie, and i love 80’s music, and live for 90’s music. i love these things because they are important to ME. you have your own beliefs and concerns and opinions etc. and i have mine. i have respect for yours, so hear me out and respect mine. i agree with you about people who fakely like these things or pretend just because they think it makes them interesting-but i am not one of these people and i would like you to understand that. peace.

Me, me me!!!!! I am sick and tired of people saying they are satanist or they think certain music "artists" are so great when in fact they are CRAP, etc, etc. I think it’s just their way of saying FTW (F the World), they don’t have to live up to stereotypes and they want to be completely different and stick out like a sore thumb. So fine, they can have their attitudes and beliefs and like whatever they want, but my theory is, it’s all for the shock value of it. To stun people that they think and act that way. Why else?

People are shep they do what there told and everyone of us, no matter how much we argue against it, fall into the category. It’s the herd instinct to do what the other people are doing. We aren’t as evolved as we’d like to think.
