First of all, this is a two part question. Now I really want to know what happened to the truly brilliant cartoons! And I'm not talking about really old stuff like popeye, the jetsons, and mighty mouse. I'm talking about real cartoons with actual substance, storyline, betrayal, etc. I mean it seems like all the cartoons today are absolute shit. They are all so moronic with no storyline whatsoever. Not all cartoons nowadays are, but most. So here are a few I consider real cartoons: Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Batman Beyond, Samurai Jack, Teen Titans, and the original pokemon (not this remake shit). Now they were really good! They had action, mystery, betrayal, and an actual storyline!! But honestly where did they go? Why did they dissappear? The second part of the question is easy: What real cartoons do you think I might like?

my 22 yr old friend has a strange husband.he is 25 yr old and their marriage happened i yr ago and she is now 4 months pregnant.he has a strange habit.he is totally addicted to cartoons.he has got good education, nice job and is a gentle man,but after returning from work he is fixed before the cartoon channel.she said cartoons like tom and Jerry,Popeye,Pokemon, batman etc are his top favorites.he is surely not childish as he is responsible and he has good knowledge about world affairs and all sort of things.is this cartoon addiction a mental illness?need help .kindly forgive capitalization

Tell me if you collect any type of cartoon character merchandise, such as Felix the Cat stuff, Popeye, Warner Bros., Smurfs, and/or Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, etc. Tell me what your favorite items are. Do you have something unique in your collection?
