Silly question, from old cartoons, why did they do that!?
When i was a kid i watch tv a lot, now that i grow, i have some "silly" question about those cartoons form the past.
In Looney Toon... Why Wille Coyote, always was buying stuff from ACME company?, If that company, alway send it, items that never works in the right way!?
Why Willie never ask for a hamburger or food by phone, or go to a restaurant and buy food?
Why always was trying to catch road runner?
In popeye the sailor, how can be real that if one adult eat spinach, will be so strong?
Why Popeye and Brutus was chasing Olive?
Olive wasn't cute, wasn't pretty, she was very skinny, like a skeleton with skin.
Donald Duck, have nephews, but... who's the mother or father, of that nephews? who's the relative of Donald duck who had those kids?
Now Goofy... in the recent series, Goofy have a son, but... who's the mother?
I never noticed that Goofy, married with someone.
Flinstones, they lived on prehistoric ages. How can be possibly that they enjoy of electricity? Television, cars, supermarkets, news, and many other stuff, if they cavemans, and in cavemans time, wasn't all the stff that the serie show us!?
Isn¡t silly that the kid of that years, enjoy of those silley cartoons?
I guess the producers and writers didn’t think that deeply about it.
cartoons are all about comedy and impossible, silly things. They are not meant to be analyzed with any logic. It is for entertainment because they are so silly and irrational. That is the strength of cartoons, they can explore things you wouldn’t accept in live action.
The answer for a lot of your questions is because they set up these situations for the sake of comedy. Why chase an ugly girl? I dunno, but it is silly to think how much trouble they went to just for her. It makes sense to do the rational things you say, but the fact that they aren’t makes it funny.
Donald Duck’s sister is named "Della", she is the mother of Huey, Duey, and Louie. Their mother is Scrooge McDuck’s sister, Hortense, from Scotland, brought to America by Scrooge. That is why Scrooge is Donald’s uncle. You can read the whole thing in a graphic novel called "the life and times of scrooge mcduck".
As for flintstones, remember they used animals to power everything. they might have had tv but there was probably some kind of animal powering it somehow.
1.)i believe that the first item he bought didn’t work and so they just kept letting him exchange it for other things….that unfornatly still didn’t work.
2.)He was always planning to eat the road runner.plus he’s in the desert…i don’t think they deliever there.lol.
3.)Only food around.
4.)He was always strong enough to do whatever he needed without the spinach but he believed in his head that it was because of the spinach that he was strong.
5.)Personality!the girl had a cute and pure personality.
6.)the mother of huey,dewey and louie was Della Thelma Duck(Donald’s sister).there’s nothing about the father.just that he was in the hospital and that the mother sent the boys to Donald’s place temporarly.
7.)the mother was the cow girl(Clarabelle Cow).She wasn’t around a lot, so i thought she might have divorced him.
8.)Well, i can’t explain how the Flintstones had all those things but i’m guess it was all animal production.like the kitchen sink was an elephant that would spray water to wash diahes or the turtle that was used as a vaccum.
