Popeye the sailor man?
You folks at hollywood, what are the chances of you guys giving the little guy a comeback? Personally, might be good for the whole nation, he came out of a time, that I believe President Obama said it best, the greatest generation.
Popeye might be better off as a memory. It’s no longer cool to find humor in physical deformity or a speech impediment, and they would want to give Olive Oil a makeover. Questions about Sweet Pea’s parentage might come into it, and it might get nasty.
I’m joking of course but how many remakes have they screwed up? You know they wouldn’t want to just bring back the old ones. They would want to make changes and that would never work.
robin williams did a popeye movie in the 80’s. it was cool.
i also think it should be left well enough alone.
i loved that cartoon when i was young.
