Is Popeye (the Sailor Man) God?
He said, "I yam what I yam."
Also, he beats up people who disagree with him.
His main enemy, Bluto, looks like a fat version
of Satan...
And his best friend, Wimpy, sucks up to him and
asks for favors (free hamburgers) and then
offers to pay later and never does. Sort of like
religious people. Which brings up the question:
Is Popeye, the best depiction of God/Yahweh/Allah,
that the world has ever seen?
This led me to look for some Popeye videos. Found the first one on Youtube. It’s awesome…therefore he just may be god.
