Does eating spinach really help your forearms get bigger?
Today in the weight room at my high school, a friend of mine, who is a freshman whose three rep bench is 195 pounds, told me that eats a lot of protein foods to build muscle and he eats spinach because they make your forearms grow. Is this true?

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Protein is great when on a muscle building kick, but the spinach is in no way going to make your forearms bigger. There is no magic plant to make things on your body grow. So before you listen to your high school buddy in the locker room saying he eats 15 brussel sprouts a week to make his little danglers bigger, tell him he is an idiot. By the way, don’t do steroids either. They inflate your muscles for short term periods only with horrible side effects. AND they are illegal. Stick with proven methods and diets that a high school coach can safely help you with. Ask a doctor if you are ever unsure.
nope. while spinach is very good for you, it doesn’t make your forearms any bigger.
You should eat bugs, they have like 0 carbohydrates and mostly protein, well it tastes really bad but it really made me strong.
if you eat enough and work out, then yeah because it’s full of fiber

No, he is full of crap. Besides you don’t need big forearms to benchpress, the benchpress works your chest muscles.
that’s a lie… if you look at the nutrients in spinach it is impossible for it to have that effect!

Second, Yes along with exercise these protein foods can help you including spinach. Make sure you eat other fruits and vegitables too

Protein part is definitly true but i never have heard of the spinach thing. i know broccolli makes your chest muscles grow…i’ll ask popeye at the gym tomorrow jk lol
Well,, in my experience no.
I happen to love spinach and eat it regularly. I have an active life as a Mechanic so arm use is constant. I have really strong hands and I am a force to be reckoned with at arm wrestling but my forearms are no larger than the average persons.
your friend must be joking with you b/c there is no way that he is serious. you dont get big forearms with spinach alone. its the protein that helps build muscles, like chicken.
