Classic cartoons?
Does anyone else remember these classic Christmas (or similar) cartoons?
Santa's Surprise
Christmas comes but once a year
Somewhere in Dreamland
and similar cartoons, like Popeye, Betty Boop, Little Lulu?
I think they were made in the 40's or 50's originally, but I grew up watching them because we had some old tapes. I still pull them out every year. You can't beat the quality of the old cartoons... they have something wonderful that the more modern ones just don't have!
on the contrary, cajohnson667, I'm only 19!
And its awesome that I'm not the only one who loves 'Somewhere in Dreamland'. Its just a good wholesome cartoon
and Warner Bros were not racist... *grumbles at stupid politically correct paranoia*
No your old
taste, that’s what cartoons lack.
Did you know they said that Warner Brothers cartoons were racist?
No more Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fud, Tasmanian Devil…..
sad times we live in
Oh i remember Popeye, a little bit of Betty Boop.
I dont think I remember the other 3 that you mentioned. But im sure if I watched them, I would remember,.
when i was little I LOVED ‘Somewhere in Dream Land’ and i’m not old. I just turned 18 two months ago.

I may have those also —I’ll have to check — just dug into the back of the entertaiment center — I didn’t realize I had so many Christmas tapes — the Little Drummer Boy — Christmas Comes But Once A Year — Christmas Dream Land — Punch and Judy Christmas(B& W) — Christmas Toyshop — Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer(of course) — A Howdy Dowdy Christmas — Thanks for mentioning that I move all the christmas tapes to the front — maybe I’ll play some on Christmas Eve when the family gathers … Merry Christmas (later) just found Santa’s Surprise too.
