it makes about as much sense as putting a general in charge of a submarine
How much water is in Iraq, by the way?
Wow you’re really good at cracking jokes. Maybe you have some
real advise to give the president.

What makes a genius like you think that someone who has reached the rank of Admiral knows nothing about tactics? HERE’S YOUR SIGN!!!
It indicates we will be attacking Iran with ship based missles and planes.
A very strange move indeed. I think it might signal a shift in his strategery. Maybe he intends to use the navy fleet more than the ground troops? Maybe its just another horrible move by the wanna be emperor.
If this is the same admiral that is on JAG we will win this time. He’ll get Harm on the case and send them all to court….and win!!!Popeye lived in a garbage can,and swam with naked women,he’s much to busy for politics.
Very doubtful, because the "tactic" is placing experience in a tough situation.
Makes the move into Iran more feasible.
Probably!
Here’s my guess. The troops will be delivered by ship and I’m guessing most of them will be Marines. Why not put an Admiral in charge of the shootin’ match, the Marines are part of the Navy, and a fresh approach is needed if the President is going to insist on being there. Don’t get me wrong, I’m against this whole war.
Sure hard to find a YES man in the other services so let’s go NAVY!
