I'm a 90's kid & I grew up in a time where cartoons were drawn by real people & not so much animated by computers. My favorite cartoons are anything from 50's-90's or early 2000 cartoons. I like all the classic disney & nickelodeon cartoons. Stuff like Popeye, Lonney Tunes, The Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Charlie Brown, The Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, Hey Arnold, Little Bear, The Rugrats ect. back in my day, cartoons made kids & adults laugh & they were meant to be fun, they gave kids a break & a childhood, cartoons had drama or they had dangerous situations where characters got angry, & where the good fought the bad & vise versa, argued, or sad. Nowadays most cartoons are educational... parents & teachers are supposed to teach their kids these things, not a TV show. Why on earth do parents let their kids watch modern educational cartoons? By letting them watch cartoons like that, you're shoving education down their throats & at such young ages! Kids have plenty of time to learn these things in school. I'm glad I grew up on classic cartoons, it made me a better person & they gave me a childhood worth living.
@PetMom, I totally agree with you on that, but there's a difference between life lessons & all these new cartoons that are teaching multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, counting, letters, colors ect. I probably should've mentioned exactly what kind of educational cartoons.
