I've been trying to explain the mispronunciation of lyrics in the song ("finish" pronounced "fin-itch") by saying that Popeye is a New Yorker.

My friend and I are watching Popeye, and Olive Oyle just tried to stick her finger in the end of a machine gun to stop Brutus from firing it at Popeye, and we were curious, what would happen in RL if she did that?
well, obviously something bad would happen to your finger, but do you think your finger would get shot clean off, or would it like hit your hand on the way out...? We're wondering the actual physics of it all...

What's a solid technique for building muscle mass and definition in the forearm? I've been working out for a year and the forearm seems like one of the hardest areas to see progress in. More interested in lean defintion than Popeye...

I thought about this when I noticed that her outfit was a typical old-fashioned Southern Italian peasant outfit. Then her name... then her stalker "Brutus" and I realized that Popeye was the great Yankee that was going to Americanize her and take her away from her brutish goombah. Does this make sense or am I totally paranoid?

drives farther? I can hit straight tee offs and keep it in play 7 out of 10 times but I only average about 190 yds when teeing off. So on long par 4 and 5's I don't reach the green for at least 2-3 shots which forces me to have to one putt or two putt at best to get pars or single bogies. My lack of distance off the tee is killing my scores. I tend to "tee" the ball very close to the ground as I choke up pretty far on my club cause if I don't I always ground my club before contacting the ball. Anyone who has a similar build as mine Short 5-8 320 Lbs and big chested who can crush their drives with control please give me some advice.

Is it possible that the terrorists saw some Popeye cartoons, and therefore thought that spinnach is what gives Americans strenght, and did something to cause problems with spinnach?
