I wanna be something different for Halloween. I'm thinking along the lines of dressing up as a retro cartoon character. I was thinking Velma from Scooby Doo. She's cool. What other costume ideas can you give me, based on this? I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on it, and I don't want it to be slutty or anything. :/

I've done a bit of research on the subject of Popeye, but don't seem to be able to get any real good information on the causes so that I can diagnose it and treat it properly.

Out of my Molly tank, only my male Marble Molly seems to be showing signs of Popeye. He's withdrawn/spends most of his time at the bottom of the tank in hiding, will not come to the surface to eat but will pick off the bottom of the tank, darts from any lights being turned on (either on the tank or in the room), and the most obvious is the popeye is affecting both eyes.

After frequently testing my tank everyday since I noticed his eyes, the only thing particularly wrong I've found so far is that my GH and KH are low; to soft for Molly's. So I already know I have to work on fixing that problem. But could that problem be the cause of Popeye?
Other than the popped out eyes, there is nothing else physically obviously wrong with the fish. His coloring is fine, his fins are fine, there's no cloudiness to his eyes... when he does swim around the tank he swims just fine... it was just like one day his eyes bugged out with no other signs of anything.

Nitrate - (I forget off hand - I'm at work)

pH - 7.4
KH - 6 Degrees
GH - 5 Degrees
Oh, I forgot to also mention that yes - there is salt in my tank for the Mollies. I realize they are a brackish water fish - so they are kept in a brackish water tank!

Personally, I think the things he does after eating that spinach ... they seem almost PCP-inspired!

This is a joke question. But would you die or turn into hulk-like (Beep) if you take a whole bottle of Viagra or will you develop a cancer filled muscles on your arms like Popeye?

I'd like to buy them as a holiday gift for my GF. I used to see them on TV (I forgot what channel...some cable channel) back when I was a kid. They're the ones that are really old, like from the 1930s when they were all in black and white and each frame was drawn separately by hand. What a lost art! I think they were done by the Fleisher (sp?) studios. The same that did the original Popeye cartoons.
