In the old Popeye arcade game, which was based loosely on the '60s made-for-TV cartoons, (I know this 'cause the Sea Hag was in it) was Popeye's enemy's name Brutus or Bluto?

As a child growing up I watched Popeye, as did a lot of youngsters. We enjoyed the classic battles between Popeye and Brutus. How Popeye would gain enormous strength from spinich and defeat his enemies.

I ask the question as an adult. Why was Popeye considered so great in the first place? I mean, he was really nothing more than a weak punk who took streroids in the form of spinich to attain power.

C'mon everyone knows that wasn't really spinich in those cans.
No one could possibly get that big and strong that quick without using roids.

Brutus should of been praised, not Popeye. Brutus was always big and strong and he knew what he wanted in life. He wanted Olive Oyle and Popeye stood in his way so he did what anyone would do if there are obsticles in their way...they move em to the side.

Popeye knew he couldn't compete with Brutus so he hooked up with Balco and got a case of roids, a.k.a. spinich.

Today in the weight room at my high school, a friend of mine, who is a freshman whose three rep bench is 195 pounds, told me that eats a lot of protein foods to build muscle and he eats spinach because they make your forearms grow. Is this true?

my wife and i need some help on halloween costumes. we want something very creative, (ie, no salt & pepper, nut and bolt, ketchup and mustard, wizard of oz characters, etc...) we don't want something that we can easily find online; (we'd rather make something.)

in the past we have gone as popeye and olive oyl, flinstones, old people, beetlejuice and lydia, football player and cheerleader, geek and supermodel, quail man and patty mayonaise...

again, we don't really want anything that other people will have. (nun and priest, popular movie characters, etc...) we wouldn't mind doing movie characters, but we'd rather it be less common.

also, we have a puppy that we would like to dress up, (doesn't need to be the same as us.) she is a lighter haired dog, so we considered getting washable, pet-safe hair dye and dying black spots on her to make her a dalmation. but not sure how safe that stuff is. any help there would be appreciated also.

He seems to have quite the insulting mouth, made two racist portrayals of characters (Mudflap and Skids, which looked as real as popeye), and absolutely murdered the Transformers "live-action" series. I was so disappointed with the 2nd movie I just wanted to vomit. Michael Bay seems to think he can commit no error and that if he makes a movie, it's perfect. He seems too arrogant to be a director and is willing to take no criticism. I pray he doesn't make a third movie in the Transformers series because he'll ruin the series for me completely. I've been a diehard transformers fan since G1. What do you think, should they get a new director for the next movie?

i know olive oil does not like bluto, but should she go ahead and marry him so she can have normal looking kids?

I dont really work out, just a few pushups once in a while. But I grow muscle pretty fast. My muscle around my elbow and my forearm muscle are really big, so much so that they are the biggest part of my arm (my left one is too, so save it :P) I look like popeye the sailor and I dont like it at all. I would like to lose the muscle there and still maintain my upperbody. So any advice??
